BISPHENOL A

Bisphenol A (BPA) is produced through the reaction of phenol and acetone. It’s white granule with the density of 1.195. The purified product has fusing point at 158-159℃, while industrial product has the fusing point at 156-157℃. The boiling point is at 220℃ (5mbar). It is soluble in acetone but insoluble in water. Under normal pressure, it will decompose at 180℃. It is mainly used as the raw material to produce polycarbonate and epoxy resin products. The products made with BPA possess extremely good performance, including lightweight, transparency, and resistance to impact and heat.

Polycarbonate

Due to its strength and toughness, polycarbonate is used as cases/shell for various consumers’ electronic products. Due to its optical clarity, it can also be used as headlight lenses, bulletproof glasses, canopy, etc.

Epoxy resin

Mainly used in a variety of coatings, adhesives, circuit packaging materials, and circuit boards.

Tetrabromobisphenol A

Acting as flame retardant to improve a product’s flame retardancy.

Antioxidants for PVC

Due to its good flame/heat resistance, PVC antioxidant is widely used in various products, including billboards signs, building materials, furniture, etc.

Thermal paper

Thermal paper coated with BPA are widely used in fax machines, cash registers, credit card terminals, etc.
